You need to research into the country of your choice.
You need to answer the following questions about your country and present this information on a poster.
What language(s) do they speak?
Do they have to dress in a particular way?
Do they follow a regular religious/cultural routine (e.g. do they have to pray at a certain time each day?)? What details can you find about this?
What do they traditionally eat?
Do they have particular past-times or interests?
What other interesting things can you find out about your chosen country?
As an extra for children who wish to challenge themselves:
Is there anything your country is strongly opposed to that we might have or do in New Zealand?
Your poster must have:
A title, which must be the name of your country
A picture of your country's flag (or flags if they have more than one)
Either 7 small pictures (1 for each answer) OR 3 or 4 big pictures
Your answers must be in full sentences (remember to check your spelling, punctuation and grammar), and should make up a small paragraph (e.g 3-5 sentences)
A picture of the country you are researching (e.g the outline of the country like you would see on a map)
You may ask your family for help, but ultimately this is your research project and you need to work on your research skills
You may work on your own or in a group of no more than 3
You need to share the workload evenly
You may save your work on your memory stick to be printed at school
Your completed poster is due on Friday 16th of September
